How Hypnobirthing Works

Hypnobirthing is a deeply relaxing and effective method to allow your mind and body to work in harmony.  

It is important to know that it is not stage hypnosis!  Hypnobirthing is simply using positive language and words and putting positive thoughts about birth into our subconscious.

KGHypnobirthing is a complete birth education programme and we will use various relaxation techniques such as scripts, audios, visualisations, breathing techniques and relaxation practices (which you and your birthing partner can do together!).  

By using these techniques, this replaces any tension and fear with calmness, positivity and confidence enabling you to have a relaxing and stress free birth.  

KGHypnobirthing makes a positive difference for every birth, no matter how your baby is born.  
This can be used for every kind of birth, whether natural, with pain relief or c-section.  

Along with the relaxing techniques, we will also learn how your body works during labour, your options for birth and where to give birth, how to use the relaxation techniques for each stage of labour and what happens after birth (the golden hour).  We also cover how to use B.R.A.I.N.S to make decisions, how to set up your birth environment and boost those birth hormones, the role of birth partners, how the induction process work , how c-sections work and how to write your birth plan.  

By giving parents all the information and tools you need, you will have the confidence and relaxation for both pregnancy and birth as well as being well informed in order to make the right birth choices for you.

All full course packages and one day packages include the KGH book, parent folder with all info/resources, 5 hypnobirthing tracks and support/Q&A after the course is finished.  

I am able to do face to face appointments in the East Surrey area and within 5 miles of RH1 (Reigate, Redhill, Oxted, Banstead, Horley, Caterham, Coulsdon etc).  
Appointments can also be done online via Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
 

Full Hypnobirthing Course (Private 1:1)

This is a 12 hour course conducted privately (broken down into 2.5/3 hour sessions).  This can be at my home, or the comfort of your own home (if within 5 mile radius).  Also option to do online via Zoom.

Cost £382.50 per couple

Full Hypnobirthing Course (Group Course)

This is same 12 hour course broken down into 2.5/3 hour sessions (four evenings) but conducted in group classes.

One Day Refresher/Intensive Course

This is a one day course which can be tailored to your individual needs (approx 4-5 hours).  

​

This is ideal for anyone who has done hypnobirthing before but would like a refresher.  Or perhaps if you have had a negative experience with your first birth and would like to learn some techniques for a positive second birth.

​

Or perhaps you are near your due date and don't have time for a full course.  We can cover lots of content and techniques during the one day intensive course.

Cost £125.00 per couple (private session)

Cost £100 per couple (group session)

Birth Confidence Relaxation Hour

A 1 hour session which includes how to feel positive for birth, how to boost oxytocin, how to set up your birth environment and how your birth partner can support you. 

There is then a relaxation at the end of the session.  

After the session, one hypnobirthing track and one relaxation script will be emailed.
